Expedition in bolivian andes - 2008

Day 1 Arrival of the Expeditionary in La Paz city.Transfer to Hotel. Presentation meeting.

Acclimation in the Condoriri Group to 40 km approx. of the La Paz city , an extraordinary place of the Oriental Andes of Bolivia, mixed picks of ice and rock of 5.200 to 5.648 m.s.n.m., ideal for acclimatization processes for their proximity to the city and their multiple possibilities of quick climb and resistance treks with an environment of lakes and valleys

Day 2Hrs: 8.00 breakfast, hrs:8.30 left toward of Tuni Condoriri Dams. hrs 10.30 trek toward the lake Chiar Khota, Base Field of Condoriri group , hrs 15.00 lunch in Base Field, late of rest. hrs. 20.00 dinner and camping site

Day 3 Hrs: 8.00 breakfast, hrs 9.00 approach to the glaciers of Condoriri group, we ascend to the step of the North Pick of the Condoriri 4.900 m, hrs 14.00 return to Base Field, hrs 15.00 lunch. hrs. 20.00 dinner and camping site.

Day 4 Hrs: 8.00 breakfast, hrs 9.00 climb to the Austria pick of 5.220 m, hrs 12.30 summit and refreshment in the mountain to hrs: 13.00 return to Base Field, hrs 16.00 lunch. hrs. 20.00 dinner.

Day 5 Hrs: 8.00 breakfast, hrs 9.00 climb to the Ilusionsita pick of 5.320 m, hrs 13.00 summit and refreshment in the mountain to hrs 14.00 return to Base Field, hrs 16.00 lunch, hrs. 20.00 dinner.

Day 6 3 hrs. 1 hrs.

Hrs 9:00, breakfast. hrs. 10:00 Trekking to Tuni Condoriri Damsto hrs. 13.30 transfer in vehicle from Tuni Dams until Zongo Dams to hrs. 15.00 lunch in Zongo Dams. to rest in Refuge of the Field 4.660 m Bases. of the Huayna Potosi. hrs. 20.00 dinner

 

Day 7 3 hrs.

Hrs 9:00 Breakfast, hrs 12.00 Lunch in Zongo Dams Hrs 14.00 Climb until High Field 5.200 m. of the Huayna Potosi Hrs 18: 00 dinner and rest in Refuge of the High Field.

 

Day 8 8 hrs. 1.30 hrs.

Hrs 4.00 Breakfast, hrs. 4.30 climb from High Field until the summit of the Huayna Potosi 6.088 m. ( 8 Hrs approx.) to Hrs 18 return in Field Bases. If the conditions allow it return until the La Paz City. Dinner

 

Day 9

Hrs 8.00 Breakfast, free day and of rest in La Paz city, tour in the city, includes all the foods. Rest in Hotel.

 

Day 10 5 hrs.

Hrs 9.00 Breakfast, hours 10:00 in private transport toward the population of Patacamaya, it visits to the "chullpares" of the culture Pacajes (1200 at 1438 D.C.) and continuation until the population of Sajama.( 4 hrs. aprox.) Loadges in Hostal

 

Day 11 1.30 hrs. 2 hrs.

Hrs 8.30 Breakfast, Hrs 9.00 Transfer toward Field Bases from the Parinacota to Hrs 13.00 Lunch, hrs 14:00 trekking to High Field (2 Hrs). Camping and dinner.

 

Day 12 6 hrs. 1.30 hrs.

Hrs 3.00 Breakfast, hrs 3.30 climb to the snowy volcano Parinacota of 6.332 m.s.n.m. ( 6 hours aproxx) and a spectacular view of the Lake Chungará, refreshment and return to field base. If the conditions allow it we return hostelry of town of Sajama.

 

Day 13 .2 hrs. 5 hrs. ..

Hrs 9.00 Breakfast, hrs 10.00 Transfer toward the thermal waters and to take a hot bathroom, hrs 13:00 lunch, hrs 14:00 departure toward the La Paz city and transfer toward the respective Hotel. Dinner and end of the Expedition
