Acclimation for climbing Sajama, Pomarape and Parinacota

Day 1
Arrival of the Expeditionary in La Paz city.Transfer to Hotel. Presentation meeting.

Acclimation in the Condoriri Group to 40 km approx. of the La Paz city , an extraordinary place of the Oriental Andes of Bolivia, mixed picks of ice and rock of 5.200 to 5.648 m.s.n.m., ideal for acclimatization processes for their proximity to the city and their multiple possibilities of quick climb and resistance treks with an environment of lakes and valleys www.altiplanoextreme.com/climbing/condoriri1.htm

Day 2Acclimation
Hrs: 8.00 breakfast, hrs:8.30 left toward of Tuni Condoriri Dams. hrs 10.30 trek toward the lake Chiar Khota, Base Field of Condoriri group , hrs 15.00 lunch in Base Field, late of rest. hrs. 20.00 dinner and camping site
Day 3 Acclimation
Hrs: 8.00 breakfast, hrs 9.00 approach to the glaciers of Condoriri group, we ascend to the step of the North Pick of the Condoriri 4.900 m, hrs 14.00 return to Base Field, hrs 15.00 lunch. hrs. 20.00 dinner and camping site.
Day 4 Acclimation
Hrs: 8.00 breakfast, hrs 9.00 climb to the Austria pick of 5.220 m, hrs 12.30 summit and refreshment in the mountain to hrs: 13.00 return to Base Field, hrs 16.00 lunch. hrs. 20.00 dinner and camping site
Day 5 Acclimation
Hrs: 8.00 breakfast, hrs 9.00 climb to the Ilusionsita pick of 5.320 m, hrs 13.00 summit and refreshment in the mountain to hrs 14.00 return to Base Field, hrs 16.00 lunch, hrs. 20.00 dinner and camping site.
Day 6 Acclimation
Hrs: 8.00 hrs breakfast 9.00 to 12.00 return of C. Base Represea Tuni Condorir, return and arrival to the city of The Peace and transfer to hotel, to hrs 14.30. To hrs 15.00 lunch, late of rest, hrs 20.00 Dinner
Day 7 Acclimation
Hrs: 8.00 hrs breakfat, 9.00 to 12.00 return of Base Field at Tuni Condoriri dams, return and arrival to the La Paz city and transfer to hotel to hrs 14.30. To hrs 15.00 lunch, late of rest, hrs 20.00 Dinner

Program Expedition Three Volcanos - 2008

Day 8
Hrs 9.00 breakfast in Hotel. Departure at hours 10:00 in private transport toward the population of Patacamaya, it visits to the "chullpares" of the culture Pacajes (1200 at 1438 D.C.) and continuation until the population of Sajama.( 4 hrs. aprox.) Loadges in Hostal
Day 9
Hrs 8.30 Breakfast, Hrs 9.00 Transfer toward Field Bases from the Parinacota to Hrs 14.00 transfer toward High Field (2 Hrs). Camping site

Day 10
Hrs 3.00 Breakfast, hrs 3.30 climb to the snowy volcano Parinacota of 6.332 m.s.n.m. ( 6 hours aproxx) and a spectacular view of the Lake Chungará, refreshment and return to field base to rest. Camping site

Day 11
Hrs 9.00 Breakfast. hrs 9.30 Transfer toward Base Field of the Pomerape, Hrs 13.00 lunch in Base Field . Rest and camping site

Day 12
Hrs 3.00 Breakfast. hrs 3.30 climb to the Volcano Pomerape of 6.132 m. (6 hrs approx.) and return to Base Field. Transfer toward the town of Sajama

Day 13
Hrs 9.00 Breakfast, hrs 9.30, transfer toward the thermal waters and gueisers of Junthuma, is possible a bathroom in puddles of hot water. rest and Loadges in Hostal
Day 14
Hrs 900 Breakfast, hrs 9.30, trek to Base Field ( 3 Hrs aprox) of the snowy Sajama, rest in the afternoon. Camping.
Day 15
Hrs 9.00 Breakfast, hrs 9.30 trek and climb to the "High Field" to 5.700 m.s.n.m.( 5 hrs aprox) work of installation of carps, you climb with the whole indispensable team to arrive to the summit of the Sajama. Rest and Camping.
Day 16
Hrs 2.30, hrs 3.00 climb the Sajama ( 6 hrs aprox.), the snowy volcano of 6.548 m.s.n.m., the climbing includes morrenas, penitents and glaciers with slopes. Leaving at first hours of this day, one can make summit before the half-day, what allows to be on the summit (of the size of two soccer fields) a good while and to descend in the afternoon to Base Field, camping , it is possible and the conditions allow it we will return to the Hostal of the town of Sajama.
Day 17
Hrs 8.30 Breakfast. hrs 9.00 Descent from high field until the highway from where you continuous to the puddle of thermal water to take a reconfortante hot bathroom. Hrs 14.00 return to La Paz city and transfer to Hotel a hrs 17.00. End of Expedition
